Journey
Follow a path map from Beginner to Advanced. Puzzles open one after another, and each new level begins gently, with words you already know.
Free play
Pick a level and puzzles keep coming from that level only. You never move up unless you choose to, and free play does not change your journey.
Gems when you are stuck
Reveal a letter or a whole word, or check the letters you typed. You earn gems by finishing puzzles and by coming back every day.
Word notebook
Every word you complete is saved with its meaning. Search your words and see which ones you have learned.
Stars and daily rewards
Use fewer hints for more stars, and finish without hints for a gem bonus. The daily reward grows the more days in a row you play.
Offline, on phone and tablet
The puzzles are inside the app, so you can play without internet. Choose a light or dark look and one of two colour themes.

Five levels, each with its own word list and its own puzzles. Follow them in order on the journey, or stay in the one you choose in free play.
Level labels are approximate. Wavvy Words is for learning and fun; it is not an official assessment or exam preparation.

Erase it any time
Reset your puzzle progress in Settings, or uninstall the app to erase everything. See Delete data.

What is an arrow-word puzzle?
It is a crossword where the clues sit inside the grid. Each clue cell has an arrow that points to where its answer goes. In Wavvy Words the clues are in your own language and the answers are English words.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and nothing to register. Your progress, gems and word notebook are stored on your device.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The puzzles are inside the app, so you can play offline. Ads and purchases need a connection.
Which English level is it for?
From A1 (beginner) to C1 (advanced). The journey follows the levels in order, and the first puzzle of every level is open from the start. In free play you stay in the level you choose. Level labels are approximate; they are not an official assessment or exam preparation.
What are gems?
Gems are in-game points for help: reveal a letter, reveal a whole word or check the letters you typed. You earn them by finishing puzzles and by coming back every day, and you can buy more. Gems are virtual and cannot be exchanged for money.
Are there ads?
The free version shows ads between puzzles, and you can choose to watch an ad for a letter or an extra puzzle. Premium and the one-time "ad-free for life" purchase remove the ads between puzzles.
What happens to my progress if I change phones?
Your progress is stored on your device. If Android backup is switched on for your Google account, Android may restore it on your new phone. Premium and "ad-free for life" follow your Google Play account: use Restore purchases in the Store tab. Gems you have not spent may not be recoverable.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Reset puzzle progress erases your puzzles and your notebook. Uninstalling the app erases everything it stored. The steps are on the Delete data page.
When can I download it?
Wavvy Words is coming soon to Google Play, for Android phones and tablets.
